Résumé
Lorsqu'Askeladd tue Thors, le père de Thorfinn, Thorfinn s'embarque clandestinement sur le navire de Thors et attend patiemment le bon moment pour prendre sa revanche. Mais, la vie sur le bateau est rude sans nourriture ni eau, et Thorfinn s'affaiblit de jour en jour. Un jour, Thorfinn, armé de son épée, tente d'attaquer Askeladd dans son sommeil.
